What is needed
Three things are necessary to have a web site online; a Domain
Name, a Host, and a web site Design.
The Domain Name is the address you would like people to type
into their browser to bring up your web site (for example
- http://www.extima.com). The Host is the computer that is
hooked up to the Internet at all times with your web site
on it. Through the Internet, people will be able to access
this computer and view your web site. And finally, the Design
is what visitors will see when they view your site. As a web
design firm, Extima is able to provide all three of these
services for you.

What it costs
We can register your Domain Name for $15 per year,
usually billed biyearly. You can also register your Domain
Name on your own through Network Solutions/Verisign if
you would rather, but they will charge you a fee of $70 for
two years.
The Host will cost from $20 per month up. For most
users, that price will include all of the hosting features
they need. If you require large database applications, major
E-Commerce solutions, or real media servers, the cost bumps
up to $50 per month. Web Site Hosting is usually paid for
on a yearly basis.
Design costs can vary a great deal. Most qualified
firms charge $75 - $100 per hour and database design can run
up to $160 per hour. Extima, on the other hand, charges only
$75 per hour for all Internet services.
More things to think about
After you have your web site up and running, how are people
supposed to find it? Your site must be submitted to search
engines (yahoo, excite, etc.) and the proper "meta tags" must
be embedded into the design of your site to make it appear
in those search engines. We will create these tags and take
care of the initial site submission to key search engines

The ball does not stop there however. You must advertise your
web site as much as possible on your own. Your business cards,
flyers, mailers, etc. must display your web site address to
get people to recognize it. Extima designers have experience
in print design as well as web design. They can create your
stationary designs as well. A stationary package of business
card design (includes 2 comps for your review and a revision
on the design of your choice) as well as letterhead and envelope
design will cost only $150 if we design your web site. And
remember, if you are a new business, your logo is crucial.

Finally, banner advertising and other online marketing can
be developed by Extima's professionals. Banner ads can be
designed for $200 - $400 depending on the needs of the client.

In order to make sure your site is developed to your satisfaction,
we believe that we should be able to speak with you as much
as you feel is necessary. Therefore we will not charge you
for the time we are consulting with you on your site. We want
you to take time to express your needs and not feel the pressure
